Trust Technique® Sessions for Animals and Their Humans

Creating More Peaceful, Trusting Relationships Between Animals & Humans

Sometimes our animals' behavior leaves us feeling worried, frustrated, or unsure of what to do.

An anxious dog who struggles to be alone.
A reactive horse who becomes difficult to settle.
A sensitive animal who seems overwhelmed by the world around them.

What if, instead of asking “How do I change this behavior?”, we learned to ask:

“What is my animal feeling—and how can I help them feel safe and peaceful?”

The Trust Technique® offers a gentle, mindfulness-based approach that helps animals and humans move from fear, anxiety, and overthinking toward greater peace, trust, confidence, and connection.

Rather than relying on dominance, correction, or force, we learn to change the feeling within the relationship.

Because when the feeling changes, the relationship can change.

What is the Trust Technique®?

The Trust Technique® is a mindfulness-based approach that helps animals and their humans develop a deeper sense of peace, trust, confidence, and understanding.

Animals and humans constantly influence one another through feeling.

When we learn to quiet our own thinking, become present, and cultivate a peaceful state of mind, our animals can begin to experience that feeling with us.

Through practices such as Present Moment and Mindful Regard, we learn to slow down, listen differently, and become more aware of what our animals are communicating.

As thinking levels decrease:

Fear can soften.
Trust can grow.
Connection can deepen.

The goal isn't simply to change a behavior.

It is to create a more peaceful relationship in which both animal and human can feel safer, more understood, and more connected.

The Trust Technique® Can Help…

When Anxiety, Fear or Reactivity Are Present

For dogs, horses, and other animals experiencing anxiety, fear, reactivity, nervousness, or difficulty settling.

When an Animal Is Finding Their Way After a Difficult Experience

The Trust Technique® can be incorporated into the rehabilitation of rescue and traumatized animals, helping create greater trust, confidence, and emotional security.

When the Body and Mind Need to Find More Peace

The Trust Technique® helps release tension and quiet the cycle of overthinking, creating a more peaceful state for both animal and human. When there is greater peace, the body can relax, energy can flow more freely, and the animal's own natural healing processes can unfold.

When You Want to Feel More Connected

The Trust Technique® can help you listen more deeply, understand what your animal is communicating, and develop a more peaceful, trusting relationship together.

Trust Technique® session with dog in South Florida

Veronica helped our puppy with his separation anxiety. She taught us to be present, understand and respect our puppy’s feelings, and react accordingly. By lowering our thinking levels, we were able to transmit that calm to our dog to help him cope with his fear of being alone. Thank you so much for helping us deal with this. And, on top of that, her natural treats are our puppy’s favorites!

Trust Technique® helping anxious dog build trust and confidence

Veronica is a dedicated dog lover and , for lack of a better term, a dog “whisperer” but with professional credentials. She took my crazy, but loving pup and using the trust method was able to tap into his quiet place and use that to help me and my best friend bond and understand each other’s needs and feelings. Always a happy dog, he is now calmer and, if possible, more happy since her lessons.”

A More Peaceful Relationship Begins Here

The Trust Technique® isn't about controlling your animal.

It's about learning to create a different feeling within the relationship—one rooted in peace, presence, trust, and understanding.

When we become more peaceful and mindful, our animals can experience something different from us. And when the feeling changes, something beautiful can begin to change between us.

Trust. Understanding. Connection.

These are gifts that can transform the relationship you share for years to come.
